In general, vegans and vegetarians find it slightly harder to consume a high protein diet requirement. However, we give all the support and advice we can to make sure we find the right solutions for you to be able to keep your protein intake at a high level which contributes to a faster fat loss / muscle building.

The short answer is yes. It all depends on your goal. If your main goal is to lose fat, the most important factor is to be in a caloric deficit on a high protein diet combined with resistance-based exercise. This will help you burn fat but also will help you to build muscle. While you cannot maximize muscle gain in a caloric deficit, you most certainly can build an athletic physique by the end of your fat loss journey.

Your meal plan will have all your caloric needs and macronutrient tailored to your specific goals. In general we would advise between 3 and 4 meals a day. Meeting your overall caloric intake and macronutrients targets on a daily basis, as will be explained to you by your trainer, is more important than the number of meals it is broken into. Building healthy habits around eating “healthily” will help you to maintain your hard earned body for the long term.

If you are as serious about getting results as we are, the minimum is 3 times a week with your trainer at Delta Fitness. 3 hours of exercise out of the 167 hours in a week is the least amount of effort we require our clients to commit to for visible results in defined time frames. Some clients can train up to 4 times a week, however, we understand that a busy lifestyle won’t allow this for many. Doing regular walks, yoga classes and other outside activities to complement your workouts will also be always encouraged.

Dietary supplements have their time and place when it comes to training, however, at Delta Fitness we like to educate and promote the importance of eating the right foods. Supplements such as whey protein , bcaas, creatine, ashwagandha will be a great addition to an already existing and structured diet. Supplements are just that, supplement a healthy diet. We make the nutrition a priority before supplementation.
