Regular massage provides a range of benefits to everyone from elite sports athletes to everyday londoners who work out to keep fit. Our qualified massage therapists employ a range of soft tissue techniques to reduce injuries and increase performance. These techniques can increase range of motion and/or flexibility, speed up recovery by increasing local circulation and reducing inflammation and help with rehabilitation of sports or lifestyle related injuries. If you have an event or competition coming up, our team can help get into the best possible shape. Book a massage for a pre-event or a post-event treatment for preparation and/or recovery.

 

Each treatment session is fully tailored to your needs, starting with a consultation to understand your goals. Our therapists have different assessment tools at their disposal such as postural or movement analysis, as well as manual muscle testing or orthopedic testing to determine the best possible treatment. Therapists use different techniques such as: manual therapy and/or IASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization), stretching and/or flexibility techniques, kinesiology taping, dry needle acupuncture, corrective exercise, movement training and more.

When I met Kam, I was 3 months post ACL surgery and barely able to walk properly, I certainly couldn’t fully extend my leg and it continued to swell routinely. I had long standing chronic pain for over 20 years, from various sports injuries. Following a period of intensive physiotherapy, I worked with Kam for the next part of my rehabilitation. Our focus was on core strength and mobility via weight bearing exercises. Kam put together a program of exercises that built on each other and worked on many parts of my body at the same time, without my realising. I now have improved range of motion, and am much more confident with exercise involving my lower back. I’m enjoying movement in my body again and simple aspects of daily life, like walking up the stairs and escalators, and even going for a long walk, are now pain-free and easy. Kam truly understands movement and rehabilitation, and pays great attention to his client’s ability. He also makes sure that you stick to good form when exercising, to protect from any further injury. I would highly recommend him as a personal trainer.
